I did for a while and then changed to a journal. I still have my journal but haven't written in it for a few months

I've recently just bought one of those calendar diary, and been recording what I do (in terms of studying) and planning my week which has been pretty useful (but I forget to do it most of the times)

Not much need anymore, judging by some of the things I see on Facebook people just use that to write about their private life instead now.

Tried and gave up once or twice when I was a kid.

Many years after that (end of last year) I decided to start one in the new year (so it started January 2015). My thinking was that it would record all sorts of things I do that I would otherwise forget about, so it would be useful and interesting to read through years later. e.g. Nights out, funny things that happened/were said, anything interesting I watch on TV, places I go, things I've been thinking about, etc.

I sometimes go a week or so without putting anything in, but I have managed to keep at it and I intend to keep using it.

for like an hour when i was 10 yeah

i thought the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" books were so cool - wanted to have my own and then realised my life was boring af and there was nothing to write about so i just left it

books are still cool though 8/10 would recommend

Started it in 2011. I write in it approximately once every 4 months

I wrote one while working in South Africa, I have since destroyed it as I don't ever want to read it or allow anyone else to read what happened out there. I would much rather just forget.

I wrote a diary for a few years, but cringed when I read them back and threw them all away.

I kept a diary through my first few years at secondary school. I found it again recently and read it. It was so bloody cringey. All I spoke about was a certain guy, wrote in text talk and drew love hearts and stars everywhere.
