Course: LLB Law
AS (IB) grades (predicted/achieved): 38
Current status: 2 Week

Hey, I have the same predicted IB points as you (38) with a 766 in my higher - level subjects but i'm really unsure how that goes up against the A-level system e.g how many A*'s would be equivalent to 38 and how lenient the uni is with the IB system.
Anyway good luck and tell me how it goes!

Hi,
most universities say that 38 is equivalent to A*AA, except KCL which views A*AA as 35, many universities may be lenient by 1 point or say allow you to have 666 in highers if they are asking for 766 if you still reach the overall score. LSE, however as they have so many applicant usually are very strict and if you dont meet the offer wont accept you, the advantage of IB is you have more time over summer to contact them and beg for a place whilst everyone else is still waiting for results.

i will say though that i cant be sure and LSE may be more or less lenient depending on the strength of the application.

Good luck to you too and I hope all the deadlines this term aren't killing you!

Couple of people I know have gotten rejections for law, and they've applied around the same time as me or later - meaning there's still a chance for me, hopefully...
