Should I mention that I work full time while at uni? watch

    • Thread Starter

I'm currently a second year Computer Science student, and over the summer I was offered an amazing job in IT which is really relevant to what I want to do in the future and was too good to turn down. Although I have flexibility in my hours to fit work in around lectures, I am still working full time. I am now applying for placement jobs for next year and was wondering if I should mention that I work full time. I've found it really challenging at times and my organisational skills have improved so much, and I want to be able to talk about this, but I don't want to come across as being reckless. Any advice would be much appreciated.

If you have the grades to match I don't see why not? Would look pretty good to have good grades and a full time job.

I think they would be impressed, it's like someone doing an online or part-time degree whilst working, it shows hard work.

If you got good grades still then absolutely. It shows that you're very hardworking and willing to get good experience.
Do you agree with the proposed ban on plastic straws and cotton buds?
