Can i get into university for a foundation degree with an a level and a double as??? watch

    Hi there,

I want to do a foundation degree in social work/care at Uni. I got a D for my AS Business studies and 2 Us in psychology and Maths at the end of my first year at college. I am re-taking business studies and I am hoping to achieve a C at the end of this academic year. I have also picked up Double Health and social care and I have been predicted a DD although I have been submitting most of my coursework AOs to a B/A Standard and I am hoping to achieve at least a CC at the end of the year for this course.

So at the end of this year I will (hopefully) have:
A level Business at grade C=80 UCAS points and
AS Double Health and Social care at grades CC=80 UCAS points

I have got a B in GCSE maths and Cs in English Lit/Lang along with C grades in 7 other GCSEs. I have also done a few Level 2 courses.

I have applied to Canterbury Christ's Church University for a foundation degree in Social care/work and the minimum requirements are 120 UCAS Points. I am still a bit concerned about my U grades in Psychology and Maths. Do you think I would be able to get into this course??

I know this is a stupid question but would any universities accept me for Undergraduate social work BA??Like UEL, UWS, Kingston Uni?? Please help!

    Many Thanks In Advance ,

You generally need more points to get on a BA. Have you looked at a HND / Foundation Degree? You can then top these up to a BA.

Do you agree with the proposed ban on plastic straws and cotton buds?
