Definitely do not, if you take him back you're telling him it's okay what he did. Plus if he loved you anyway he wouldn't have cheated. Move on and find someone better

In the grand scheme of things 8 months isn't that long. I'd get out now, it's not like you've been together 15 years, have children etc. Find someone who respects you enough to JUST want you.

I've forgiven him but finding it hard to forget about. It happened 5 months ago, and now we are still together and also since then he has proved his love for me, but people tell me I should have never have taken him back?
