You know how some men whistle when on their own at bus stops or train stops etc.. and no one thinks much of it. Well if you saw a woman alone like this who was whistling what would you think? Why would it be odd for a woman yet its not for a men?

I'd be in envy of their whistling ability tbh
I've never been able to learn how to whistle

I think it is fine. Why is it odd? No different to singing or humming a tune. Let her be happy

I wouldn't think much of it. I'd probably try to listen and guess the tune.

Haha ok I guess its just me then making weird judgements. For some reason i thought that society saw it as odder for a woman to whistle when alone than a man.

Naw, I whistle all the time, and the only odd looks I get are from my friends (they find it annoying )

It's just the jealousy of your whistling talents, I get the same.
