    Hi there,
I am a first year law undergrad and I am planning to transfer to a uni which offers a study abroad year in the US or Canada. I've done some research, but it has proven to be inefficient, therefore your help would be really appreciated.
    Thanks!

It seems like you clearly didn't go deep enough into your research. There are several unis that offer a year abroad in the US or Canada. A simple Google search shows up a few unis:

    University of Kent (http://www.kent.ac.uk/courses/underg...-abroad-canada)
    University of Leicester (https://le.ac.uk/courses/law-llb)
    University of Edinburgh (http://www.law.ed.ac.uk/teaching/und...lb/year_abroad)
    University of Sussex (http://www.sussex.ac.uk/law/ugstudy/studyabroad)
    University of Sheffield (https://www.shef.ac.uk/law/exchange/exchangepartners)
    University of Liverpool (http://www.liv.ac.uk/study/undergrad...hons/overview/)
    University of Birmingham (http://www.liv.ac.uk/study/undergrad...hons/overview/)

I did find many of the schools you listed, but some of them don't accept transfer students and others don't offer the course I'm interested in. But I didn't knew about the University of Birmingham and it seems to have some really good options. I'll look into it and hope they accept transfers.
I've also read the Plymouth offers a North American year abroad, but I'm still waiting for their response on whether or not they accept transfer students
