    Correct me if im wrong:
    The basic level in the investment banking world is to start off as an analyst.
    My questions are:
    1. How hard is it to become an analyst at a top firm
    AND
    2. What do you have to do to move up.
    AND
    3. What do you move up to?

    1. Hard, odds are never in your favour but it's doable
    2. Associate - Work hard, kiss ass, don't jump to the buyside
    VP/MD - Kiss even more ass, but a mixture of client ass and your direct report's ass now
    3. Associate ---> VP --> Director/Exec Director/SVP ---> MD
