Hey Congratulations HeyaHaley! May I ask you what predicted grades you've got and if it is a conditional offer?

With predictions like these, I'd imagine them offering you an unconditional offer?

I just checked the criteria and I meet all of them so I'm confused also. :/
    Maybe I should e-mail admissions?

That may be wise. :crossedf: Then again, they are not obliged to give out unconditional offers.

    Hi everyone,

Since there seems to be a lot of discussion about unconditional offers from Bangor University here are some links providing information about the Unconditional Offers Scheme 2016:

List of subject areas taking part in the scheme:

    Full criteria:

They emailed me back saying that the School of Biological Sciences aren't part of the unconditional offer scheme.

Ah fair enough. That explains it. I'm sure you'll have no problem in getting those grades anyway!

I'm a current Bangor student in my first year, it depends on the course as to when they offer you a place really! I sent off my UCAS application last December and I got an offer the next day. Many of my friends here at Bangor though sent off their applications around October time but didn't get an offer till end of November/December so maybe those months are their "offer" months?

Bangor may just be looking at everyones application. It's not just based on criteria, it's also based on your personal statement so they would have to look at every single application which may mean a slight delay :/
