What are these spots around the base of my penis? Noticed them just over a week ago. Had unprotected sex with my ex about six months ago, and had a few blowjobs since, so could they be an STD? I don't often shave my pubes, but I did this time to get a better look at them. Any help is appreciated, I am very worried

Obviously it is difficult to know without seeing (but do not post a picture as that is against the site rules)

There is a possibility of genital wards or genital herpes if you have been sexually active. But there is also the possibility of it being swelling or irritation around the follicles of your public hair or something else completely. While it might be a bit embarrassing your best bet is to pop to your local gum clinic or your GP to see what they think. That will get you a definite answer about whether this is something to worry about

Yep, it's quite possibly even the result of you shaving, but the only way to know is to see a doctor.

Being a victim of anal warts i can tell you that you should be very worried at the spots on your penis, i had a friend with the same symptoms, and his **** had to be amputated. It wasnt all bad though, they did let him keep it and we had a great bbq the next day. Gd luck bro

They're probably just the roots of your pubes.

If you've shaved then it could be a shaving rash, once the hair grows back they'll disappear.

Go get a test though. Every new partner means a new test. Even if it's just a bj. You have no idea where their mouth/vagina/penis/ass has been.
