For my written play i have tonuse brecht techniques. Its a political satire andi want the actors to have the script on stage so they can drop each page as symbolism for the truth being revealed and the lies coming a part.
However my teacher says scripts in stage arent brecht.
But if my actors only ise it as a crutch and it successfully allienates the audience like brecht techniwues do, then how isnt it brecht?
Additipnally, when amatuer dramtic groups do plays based of books or plays some of them use the book/script when performing.
So why cant i?
And if i can, how do i justify it to my teacher and the SQA?
My performance is supposed to be tomorrow so an advice you have, id like to hear it
