I am a student from the US and I will be studying abroad in London this Spring. I will be living near UCL and I am trying to find out what gym will best suit my needs for working out. I do a lot of weight lifting but not a whole lot of running on the treadmill or biking. I would like to go the a gym that has the greatest amount of free weights possible (bench presses, squat racks, plenty of dumbbells, etc.). I have looked online but I am struggling to decide which gym will best suit my needs. Does anybody know which gym will have the most barbells / dumbbells / freeweights?
What are the downsides?
