I have accepted an offer from Cumbria for adult nursing. (start march 2016)
My Mum says I can't go as it's too far away from home.
No nearby uni will accept me, and I desperately want to do nursing.
The problem is that I can't apply for student finance/NHS bursary with out my mum's finance information, which she will not give me.
    What can I do?

She is blackmailing you. Why is Cumbria too far away?
She is effectively destroying your dreams and your future and - if you are over 18 - has no right to do so.
Maybe she is scared of losing you? Maybe she needs you to help out at home?

If it all gets too much then you can kind of divorce her. You would need to make a statement (supported by, say, a teacher) to do so and approach the bursary and SLC with the info.

You need to ring up student finance england and explain the situation to them - this will not be the first time they have dealt with this and also ring up the uni and explain what is going on -again they will have experience with this - without being rude (and being a parent myself ) is she really worried about you moving away - is it to do with religion (I have seen it on here before where in some families they expect the females to stay at home but the males can go to university) or is it to do with family finances - ie - is she is a single parent and the tax credits she gets for you will stop when you go to university, so she will struggle to pay the rent and the bills, so she would rather you went out to work so you could pay into the household - telling you it is just too far away sounds like an excuse. Good luck.
