Right guys, i am stuck between the university of nottingham and the university of liverpool. i want to study biological sciences foundation at liverpool or foundation sciences at university which will both lead me to a life sciences degree in subjects like biomedical science or human genetics. Thing is I dont know which uni to go for as both unis will allow me to enter the life sciences route. which uni should I go for? also what is the night life like, what is the campus like? if I do foundation at Liverpool i would have to study at the carmel college which is near the uni but i would still have access to the facilities of the uni. please help me make a decision.

I studied biology at the University of Liverpool and it was the best 3 years of my life. Insane night life, great sports teams/ societies, and fantastic lab facilities and academic support. I was employed before I'd even finished my degree and couldn't recommend the uni high enough.
I personally don't have any experience of the foundation year, but I know some people that did it. They enjoyed the year and still fully participated in university life; lived in halls, joined teams ect. They just went to a different campus during the day and were lucky enough to stay in that beautiful city for another year.

Ah cheers! I ended up choosing Liverpool due to the nightlife and the facilities. Still a bit skeptical about the foundation year at Carmel college but Liverpool will probably be my insurance.
