I want to apply to Queen Mary for a deferred offer and i'll be writing it on my personal statement but if you apply for a deferred entry will you have to get interviewed to know what you've been doing in your gap year?? Because i'm actually panicking. I'm not good with interviews and i'll know i will 100% fail.

Applied to QMUL last year for deferred entry and got an offer without interview (genetics). I doubt they'll get you in for an interview specifically to talk about the gap year, but if your course requires an interview then you may still have to talk about it.

Just write in your p.s what you will be doing in your gap year if it relates to your course. -

All they will want to know is that you're not going to be sitting on your arse for 14 months. Make sure you have plans for work / volunteering / travel / a combination of the above.
