The (British) Informatics Olympiad does not have bronze/silver/gold grades. Either you reach round 2 (the final with ~15 people where the international team is selected) or you don't. Once you've got your score you could e-mail the organisers and see if they'll tell you your position or which percentile you were in.

Does anyone know what mark usually gets you through to the next round? (obviously they look at your code, just looking for a rough estimate)Cheers

Typically a score of 70 to 80 out of 100 is required on the first round of the competition to reach the final.

OK, with that in mind, how many people on average sit the BIO round one annually. I just want to size up my chances here.
