Yo! My housemate does English with Creative Writing as far as I know, it is a good course. One of the lecturers (Richard Margraf Turley) is a national/ international expert on Keats. From what I know about the course, it's focused on the Romantic era and there's also a lot on sexuality and sexual expression in literature. But then again that could just be the modules she's chosen! I know there are some on mediaeval literature as well. You'll get a better idea of all the modules on offer by checking the uni website: http://courses.aber.ac.uk/undergradu...riting-degree/.

Also, some of the modules are entirely coursework based, my housemate has one which is assessed on two 3000 word essays (bearing in mind we are 3rd years, you won't start off writing that much) and she has no January exams (I do Physics and I have four D: ). But again you can find out more on the uni website.

The uni has been down in the rankings for a while, but investment is beginning to pay off and I think we are improving again. The town is really nice, it's quiet but there's so much going on, I really love living here. I'd recommend coming on an open day as exploring campus and the town.

    Hope that answered your question
