Hello, I am currently doing research for my extended project. My question is about leading female Politicians from across the world and their influence on women's rights. In the report I would like to include a brief paragraph about Feminism and people's opinion of it. It would be great if you could let me know your personal thoughts on Feminism to include in the essay. Thanks a bunch

well Emily Pankhurst was an important women activist Pankhurst was a leading British women's rights activist, who led the movement to win the right for women to vote. aka she was a suffragette. I don't do a-level politics let alone GCSE history but I hope this helps
My opinion is that feminism has been an unnecessary movement for the last 50-60 years. It has long ceased to be about getting women equal voice and being equal under the law. Feminism has no place in our society any longer and it has done far more harm than good. Feminism not only robs men of their rightful place in society and of their roles within the family and society, it has done the same to women. nevertheless I do believe its necessary to a certain extent , but women generally don't realize they have many advantages that men do not, and I would say that men and women are balanced in different areas.

Thank you for response! Just a quick follow up question if you don't mind, do you think that feminism is seen more about women being above men than equal to them?

yeah I guess so I mean feminism sometimes go above their actual purpose and sometimes believe to be superior than men, rather than being equal which in my p.o.v is not what feminism is about, its about getting equal rights, and in most cases feminism is taken as an advantage and is sometimes abused in a sense instead of being equal they believe to be above men.

im sorry if this doesn't make any sense, but this is just my point of view..
