Most likely this isn't the appropriate of the forum for me to post this, I am completely ok with this thread being moved wherever is better.

First of all, hi! I'm new here! I have a big career-related opinion to ask.

I am currently an Undergratuate student, first year in fact, which may make it a little early for me to ask this question, but, hey, I should know anyway.

So, I am studying Artificial Intelligence & Computer Science. I have chosen Introduction to Criminology as my MOMD. I discovered I quite liked Criminology, so my thoughts are to try and pair it with AICS in the future.
Since I was unable to reach my uni's Careers facility, I tried asking other academics, eg my Criminology lecturer, whether pursuing a job in Criminology (all things considered, including that Criminology is currently only my MOMD and my main course is AICS), is viable, in which case he replied that this is a strong combination of a degree to have.
I have been looking for criminology-related internships for the time being, but the ones I find are either relevant to AICS, or to Criminology by itself.

Therefore my question to you is, do you believe that this is a strong combination indeed? If yes, what kinds of jobs could I pursue in the future? Could I become, for instance, a police officer? Or a social researcher? Or anything like that?
