Why do some Unis allow so many Btechs? watch

    • Thread Starter

Okay this is not really a problem of mine, just wanted to ask. I actually think Btech is pretty good if you are sure you know what you want to do!

Anyway. My cousin goes to this Uni that's in Bham, and pretty much everyone on his course, audiology has a btech, only one other person has A-levels. He put so many hours, literally, put in 4-5 hours a day to achieve good grades in his A-level and was under the impression most other students would have done similar. However to his dismay he found people got like less than perfect Btech, I think's it's pass or something?

Anyway he is pretty damn sad, he says feels that his course has been dumbed down for these guys and doesn't even find it challenging at all. I checked the website and it's normal grades are like ABB/AAB for the course. So why do you guys think they allow pretty much everyone to have Btech-some without grades even?

Personally I feel sorry for the guy, he worked so hard yet others got in with no where near as much work. Everyone always ask him to help lol.
