On the official Heriot-Watt University (UK) page, it states that the IB (International Baccalaureate) requirements for Chemistry with Pharmaceutical Chemistry MChem is 29 points and to include Higher Level Mathematics and Chemistry. I, on the other hand, have 37 points including HL Chemistry but only Standard Level Mathematics. Will I be automatically rejected or is there some degree of flexibility in entry requirements? Also, if you search the same course on UCAS, it states that the entry requirements are 30 points and to include HL Chemistry at minimum grade 5 for year 1 entry but says nothing about requiring HL Mathematics for year 1 entry. This might sound like a silly question but which entry requirement should I trust more?

Do you agree with the proposed ban on plastic straws and cotton buds?
