    Please help I have a few questions about (Econ) Game Theory;
    -What core mathematics is used in game theory?
    -Any books which introduces maths in game theory to someone who's only done a-level maths?

    If you are looking at undergraduate game theory, it's not going to be too mathematical.

    Mostly you will just be doing a bit of basic algebra rearranging and substituting equations to solve mixed strategy Nash equilibria.

    When applying the principles of game theory (strategic behaviour) to firm decisions in different market structures then you will do some differentiation which is an A-level topic but your uni should teach you this.
