long story short, I'm already so late for a rent payment of £1500 and i'm £600 short even when using my overdraft- i get minimum loan but no parental funding. and i'm basically panicking so hard i can't think of any solutions- i'm of course looking and applying for jobs but even then i can't earn that much plus basic living expenses in an appropriate period of time- oh, and my bank won't extend my overdraft since it's only first term-maybe opening another student account and using that overdraft??? aghh any advice would be greatly appreciated because i'm terrified

have you got any family who can lend you money on the condition you pay it back?

you could also talk to your accomodation and see if you can set up a payment schedule to pay back the debt?

It wont get you mega amounts but it's easy to do and may pay your food bills for a few weeks so you can throw everything else into rent.

Check if your uni do paid studies.

Mine do for psychology, robotics and business. There are normally random ones on noticeboards too.

They charge £8 per hour which is standard throughout the UK I believe. You get paid instantly.

Also you cant open two student bank accounts.
