What are your plans for the Easter weekend?

An early Easter this year means that for many it will be the first long weekend of the spring and the perfect excuse for a break.

In expectation of the hordes of holidaymakers pouring out of the country, extra security guards have drafted into UK airports.

Staff at Heathrow are also getting ready for the first big test of BA's new baggage restrictions that mean passengers will only be able to check in one bag free of charge.

Flying away? Having a British break? Or just lounging around? What are you planning to do over the next few days?

My last day of school is Friday (I only have to be there in 7 hours) and plan on spending the week off sitting around. Maybe walk to the beach.

I didn't know when Easter was until a couple of days ago.

I never choose to go anywhere at Easter. I like sitting around on the beach.

If I edit the question slightly, then we might be closer to my preferred intentions.

Are you getting your end away this Easter?

I get two weeks off for Easter (a.k.a. New Year), starting today. I wish I could take time off, travel, go to the beach etc. But I have to study for exams ;no;
Merry Easter, everyone, nevertheless

Been to the Lake District! Hurrah!

Unfortunately, it halves the time I have left to complete two pieces of coursework, sort out my work experience and write up some notes for a maths module. I suppose it's my own fault for having lazy weeks, really...

To the countryside. Today I went fishing (i.e. sunbathed) and tomorrow I'll supervise a kid's easter egg hunt on a farm (i.e. eat all the chocolate they find) easter is fun

I was on Hockey Tour in Bournemouth.

A weekend of binge drinking, nakedness and stumbling around a hockey pitch.

My kind of fun.
