Ffs Kohli injured and out of the County Cricket stint. Devastating stuff.

Congratulations to England on winning the test series.

Is he out of the Eng series as well then?

No.

Definitely not the test series as that is played after the T20s and ODIs.
Don't wish to jinx it, but Cook is looking in good nick. Feet are moving well and getting forward, resulting in some good quality drives. Would love to see him have one last purple patch before he retires.
Abbas has been the pick of the bowlers - simple but effective action, economical and picked up a wicket with a beauty to dismiss Stoneman. Hassan Ali good, be amazed if he's got the energy to do his celebration for every wicket after a long slog in the field! Amir still not in gear, hampered by injury but not threatening at all sadly.
Finally some proper cricket! This test match has been a joy to watch so far, low and behold there is something in the pitch for the bowlers!

Kohli is struggling with a neck injury. Though England’s bowlers will doubtless be buoyed by the news that the world’s premier all-format batsman will have less time to acclimatise to conditions, it is a blow for Surrey and indeed county cricket itself given the excitement surrounding the deal. He scored just 138 runs in 10 Test innings in England four years ago and was due to begin his time playing in the 50-over Royal London Cup, starting 1 June, before three County Championship fixtures. India are due to begin their tour with two Twenty20s in Ireland from 14 June. They will then cross the Irish Sea for three more T20s against England and then three one-day internationals, before the marquee five-Test series gets underway at Edgbaston on 1 August.

England collapse?

Same thing every damn summer.
Was properly looking forward to Buttler scoring 100 off 18 balls and rubbing it in the faces of the doubters as well

Azhar and Asad Shafiq will have to break out of their respective ruts - this tour's for Azhar, the last year's and more for Shafiq. Mohammad Amir looked both fragile and threatening in Malahide where Pakistan would prefer only the latter from Thursday. Sarfraz Ahmed needs runs. He has seven 50s in his last 32 Test innings, averaging 32.41, and no century in over three years. He needs to be the Sarfraz he was before that, averaging over 45 especially as he's now batting at six.

No, we're not all right. That was so disappointing. In fact, I've never been as disappointed since T20 2016 final. Was looking forward to this game as well.

Well guess what... he knicked off trying to play his T20 game against the moving ball... just like I and everyone with any knowledge of cricket beyond the IPL knew would happen.

After watching Hasan Ali’s celebrations today, I’m fully in support of England in this series.
