So basically I've just done a transformation but my Teacher said it would only get me a Band 4 so has told me to write something else. I have used the History Boys as my base text and am now doing letters from some of the boys after 10 years of Hectors death. I'm just wondering if anyone could offer any advice for this, whether it being for the letter genre, or for characterization, anything would help really. If someone could read the letters and offer improvement advice I would be so grateful, because I have ultimate writers block at the moment. Message me if you would be able to do this, I would love you forever!

I'm going to quote in Tank Girl now so she can move your thread to the right place if it's needed. :yy:

I did A2 Lang & Lit last year and achieved an A* so I hope I can help you (although I can't recall doing a transformation of any kind for my coursework). I also haven't seen The History Boys, but I'd be willing to look at what you've written and give you some general advice if you PM me it or comment with it. :~)
