Sexism is a trending topic nowadays as long as we have been going through different purposes and developments regarding quality of life, feminism and LGBT’s studies. Now that these subjects are both being taken into university and have been going through debates in a scientific point of view. However, it is known also that repression is, in the same exponential growing as academic debates, present those minorities’ lives and routine.
Therefore, the question is; why society is so blind to what developed at Universities. In addition, most important, about the sexism topic, why these arguments, facts indeed, are not taken into concern when debating about equal quality of life of different genders?

Yes, it is, I have been in the city at night where I have heard older men call out sexual commands to teenage girls like demands to show their breasts, and satisfy their sexual needs. The lad culture goes further than the sexual chants to the universities where I have seen a professor openly laugh at an intelligent girl who said she had an interest in banking; his response was it is a man's job.
A woman should be able to walk down the street from point A to point B without having a man call out something inappropriate to her, she should be able to walk alone at night in dark areas without having to worry about being raped, she should be able to drink with her friends in a bar without worrying about someone taking advantage of her, and she should be able to achieve her dreams without having someone judge her. My point is this, a woman should be able to do all of the things a man can without being judges for doing them, until she can a lad culture of varying definitions will exist.Last edited by Jacob E; 13-11-2015 at 23:43.
