Why do people talk to me? watch

    I'm not saying this is a bad thing, it's just I'm not really used to it.

    Today, at Uni, at least 10 people who aren't even on my course came to speak to me.

    I was eating alone at the restaurant on one occasion and this one girl came to my table and started talking to me. There were other places to sit as well.

    Then people were talking to me when I was getting coffees.

    I'm not used to it because I think I'm quite intimidating.

    To answer your question, they are trying to be nice

    To respond to your comment, try and see it positively. I understand that it can be intimidating, but it can also make you feel wanted and welcomed. You wont have to worry about feeling lonely or being secluded.

    They might be professional "ice breakers" - ppl paid or told to talk/spy on 'dodgy' (unsociable) ppl.
    Think counter terrorism and student massacres and you'll see were this is coming from.

    You stick out more, there are less 6 foot 6 people, also people like powerful people etc taller people
