I am doing an ICT degree in my first year and I am struggling for the motivation to study!

Any tips on how to motivate yourself to study... I want to study but I have no motivation!!

Basically any tips would be grateful for studying.

Place butt plugs around the house where you normally lay dormant, with your only solace being your study desk.

You see, biologically, your heterosexual essence emitted from your lack of want to be butt plugged will drive to succsASS.

Trust me, I've doing this technique for 35 years now, and now I have a PhD and a PhB (pretty huge butt hole) .

    You're welcome.

You need downtime when you're studying.

Is it actually getting the material in in the first place, or revision you're struggling with?

If it's the former, I find 1-2 hour stretches of learning new stuff, making notes the best way. It doesn't matter if you don't understand what you're making notes on, it tends to make more sense the second time round.

For motivation, you need to have something outside of just studying. If you have any hobbies or people you can have some downtime with, make use of it.
