A lot harder. A much larger gap than any of my other subjects(maths, further maths, physics, chemistry). Don't let that put you off too much though, it's a nice subject.

I honestly didn't feel the step up was too bad. The content itself didn't really get much more difficult. The only thing that may be a bit more challenging is the amount of content! There isn't really much chemistry at all, so don't worry about that. I know plenty of people who took biology without chemistry and they did absolutely fine

The content isn't harder to understand than GCSE, but the amount of content and exam technique is a big step up. Don't let the gap put you off, at the end of the day all subjects are a step up in some way or another.

You won't deal with much chemistry, and it will be at GCSE level.

GCSE to AS wasnt too bad, for me AS to A2 was the real step up in sheer content
