Are you referring to the bombings?

The main reason being that the Parisian attacks had a higher death toll, and were committed in the West/

    There are hashtags on twitter:
#prayersforlebanon but I think that it has been pushed aside because of how shocking the attacks on Paris were.

Same goes for Japan, who was hit with a 7.0 magnitude earthquake and there are warnings of tsunamis.

Yes. It is an everyday occurrence.
Which is another reason we should reject Islam because these attacks become common in those countries. Look at Turkey for example and all the attacks there.

That is far too extreme response to these attacks. We should not fall into the extremism in order to combat the same.

Middle Eastern lives do not matter as much as the lives of western people (In the eyes of western people).
Just as western lives wouldn't matter as much to Arabs. Everyone puts their own before others.

OP, France is on our doorstep and are our political allies, so the fact that it's been attacked with such a high death toll means there is a very real threat to our own security. So it's perfectly reasonable to focus on what's happening there then to look to the Middle East where this barbarianism isn't really anything new.

That's true. In the same way the elections in Brazil is just as important as the elections in the UK, but understandably the BBC primarily focuses on one more than the other.

People like you are uneducated and clueless. A month ago in Turkey, 150 people were killed from the ISIS bombings, and why hasn't the media promotes such event. Because the western world is used to these events, and the media finds it being normal. And maybe because its a Muslim country? People need to wake up and think the truth, social media and the media is controlling your minds. WAKE UP. These bombings happen in Palestine every day, and why isn't Israil seen as terrorists? They are killing 100s of innocent children every day!

We're westerners. We don't care (as much) about muslims in Syria, Lebanon, or Palestine as we do about our French friends. That's the way the cookie crumbles.

Personally, I don't care much about Israel either but are you absolutely sure that they are killing 100's of innocent children every day or are you maybe exaggerating just a little bit?

This just shows how uninformed people are (yourself included). The amount of people saying 'we must pray for Japan too' was stupid. Japan is hit by hundreds of earthquakes a year, with a few causing tsunami warnings.

The earthquake you mentioned caused no injuries, deaths, or damage. It is not comparable in any way to Paris.

That's so strange. I have never heard that expression in my life before until I read it elsewhere on a blog last night and now see that you've posted it too. Twice in the space of 12 hours after decades of never hearing it before. How odd!
