My mock exams are next week and I really don't think I'm ready. I get really stressed Andre nervous before and in exams and I feel like I forget all the information that I know.
Has anyone got any revision, study, distressing tips, or just advise they can give me and others?
    Thanks

I sat my gcses years ago now but one thing I found helpful was to not join in in the pre and post exam chat, like oh do you think this question will be on it and not looking at notes right before the exam as it just makes me feel more panicked I think.

I'm new...but i am just doing GCSE mocks, in year 11....have 4 exams left.
There are lots of sites where you can go like 'get revising'. Lots of people say don't stress, but do! It is actually good, the more scared you feel the more powered up you feel well just keep repeating to yourself that your going to pass and that your the best .
Also, grade boundaries for 2015 are quite low....so it'll be okay...

Hi, to be honest mock exams are not that important, they can effect the tier of study for the exam though, for example if you want to do higher tier English then work hard for your Mock exam in English, if you want to do foundation, then take your English Mock easy, revise but its up to you whether you put the work in or not.
Revise by making poster or mind maps, I personally revised through posters as they were colourful and packed full of information, also if you are going to do a poster for revision then underline key words, this should help you remember what the rest of the sentence was by remembering the key words. Make sure all your homework is completed, then revise for an hour take a 15 minute break then start again, when you have your 15 minute break don't settle down to watch TV, take your dog for a walk, or make a cup of tea and read the paper, or scroll through your social media websites. You need to have good time management to succeed, use your time wisely, ask yourself 'will it make the boat go faster' this means will you watching TV make your revision go faster, this is the sort of strategy I used. Hope this helps, Brandon.
