Islam isn’t the problem here, Islam is merely a symptom of the disease. We think we live in a secular society, we don’t. We’re surrounded by religion: the religion of women, the religion of feelings, the religion of multiculturalism, the religion of pathological altruism, etc.

‘Offense’ and truth are the new modes of blasphemy, feelings are the new logic. The outcome is a hypersensitive, politically correct, toxic society, filled to the brim with self-loathing and a populace forced to fight amongst itself in accordance with all of the mythological identities they – the centralised elite, spurred on by common purpose echo chambers and group think - create on our behalf.

There are no collectives such as ‘women’ (i.e., the female vote), ‘black people’, ‘homosexual people’, etc. – these people aren’t all alike through virtue of sharing genitalia, or sexuality, or skin colour, but they treat them as such because it’s in their interest to do so.

The very prejudices they claim to be opposed to are the very same prejudices they reinforce on an incessant basis – when it’s underpinned by moral relativism (the inconsistent application of morality), when you can write off one entire segment of the population as ‘privileged’ (and thus, easily denounce any all contrary opinion in reference to your forced categorisation, stereotyping and prejudices as the very ‘privilege’ you accuse them of), when you can exploit or reverse age-old prejudices (‘racism’ or ‘white privilege’) to make everyone conform to a pathological form of disingenuous altruism, you’ve created the conditions within which (radical) Islam - a mythology, not a group - can fester and prosper.

You’ve undermined the central tenet western civilisation was formed around: individual liberty. An individual is no longer an individual, he or she is a ‘collective’, a ‘category’ – he or she is now dehumanised. He or she is now defined, in a political, economic and social context, by the very prejudice they claim they oppose.Of course, they need this to happen – they need to create self-loathing and they need to turn identities held by the majority population into pejoratives and socially acceptable prejudices (‘white male’ is a very 21st century pejorative).

The controllers of the narrative depend on it – it shores up vote counts (migrants overwhelmingly vote left), it shores up the charity sector and bolsters statism (a majority employer of women) with grants and funding to fight their imagined perceptions or confirmation bias, it shores up the MSM (clicks mean prizes) and it shores up the higher education sector (Universities live or die based around international intakes).

You can brainwash an entire populace into operating in everyone else’s self-interest – and thus facilitating the self-interest of the elite - other than their own simply by making them loathe themselves, or their own society, or their own country. They hone the narrative by applying ‘far-right’ to any and all rational thought, to the point, for example, ‘fascism’ is now universally accepted as a right-wing ideology (even in The Oxford Dictionary) despite advocating in favour of the minimum wage, abolishing the upper chamber, empowering the unions and lowering the voting age!

It’s not left – despite universally being regarded in the 30’s as a progressive movement – but it’s certainly not ‘right’ either. However, only one side has been tarnished by the cultural ideologues, and for their own self-serving interests. The foundation narrative extends far beyond this – who ever hears anything about millions of white Europeans being enslaves through the Arab slave trade? When is this placed on the curriculum?

Who hears or reads that nearly every single slave enslaved through the Atlantic slave trade was enslaved by a black African tribal leader and sold onto white European colonisers for a profit? I’m not advocating in favour of an ethnicity, I’m advocating in favour of the truth. The narrative is controlled and manipulated by socially acceptable religions; the patriarchy is their deity (i.e., mythical), their holy text is the feminine mystique, their temples are safe spaces on University campuses and gender studies departments, and their shrine is their genitalia.

They become incapable of defining the group they argue in favour of by anything other than how they compare to the group they oppose, i.e., they aren’t women until they’ve been compared to men. It’s a fundamentally dehumanising model which is extrapolated across all own-group biases, and with every utterance it moves us further and further away from any conceptualisation of individual liberty. It creates the conditions for societal guilt and warfare, which, by extension, creates the conditions for societal deconstruction.Islam is not our problem, our problem is ‘the narrative.’

At the very heart of society we have been sold malicious lies by people who trade in deceit and division for the own nefarious purposes.

I'm struggling to follow your line-of-thought here...

You seem to be suggesting that the erosion of personal liberty and the incessant need for group-categorization in the West has created a fertile breeding ground for Islamic extremism. Yet you have offered little explanation as to how that actually plays out... please expand.

Also, if that were true, then surely we would expect to find terrorist acts, incentivized by religious doctrine, playing out to a much lesser degree outside of the Western world?

The dominant, 'modern' pseudo-progressive, guilt-laden, sentimentally-skewed pseudo-altruistic, ethically bankrupt 'laissez faire' pseudo-free market, and fundamentally unrepresentative, covertly ultra-hierarchical (elitist) pseudo-Democratic cult of ‘Crony Capitalism’ - most certainly is the primary problem

Violence is not the only problem with failed multiculturalism, just the tip of the present iceburg, and I don't know of many historic instances of mass inter-civilisational mixing that have been brought about/sustained without significant bloodshed/persecution, esp. those involving the Muslim world e.g. Al-andalus

"Uprisings ... were answered with mass executions ... wars were accompanied by plunder, kidnappings and ransom. Córdoba itself was finally sacked by Muslim Berbers in 1013, its epochal library destroyed. Christians and Jews had the status of alien minorities ... [There was] a massacre of thousands of Jews in Grenada ... and the forced exile of many Christians"

the erosion of personal liberty and the incessant need for group-categorization in the West has created a fertile breeding ground for Islamic extremism
Put simply, 'Liberal' elites (political/cultural leaders and key opinion makers) have sought to indoctrinate the population into believing that anything that:

    1) That which they deem to be 'right-wing' = right-wing, period; whether the object is, in fact, objectively right-wing or not, partly, in sum, or absolutely categorically, as per the definition: holding traditional values, and generally opposed to political/social progressivism. Same goes for ‘left-wing’, often (incorrectly/unfairly) also used as a pejorative, incidentally (by myself included, in the past/from time to time)

    2) Anything that does not chime with the world-view that they purport to support/represent (which is totally hollow, as few of the ivory tower cretins actually practice what they preach e.g. if you pay attention to how/where this class lives) is 'right-wing'

    3) 'Right-wing' = retrograde e.g. regressive, racist and fascistic, and hence legitimately directly comparable to EDL, BNP, NF, Nazis etc, therefore worthy of contempt and to be, at the very least, dismissed offhand, if not totally abhorred and discredited

In this context, consider, then, the implications for the undisturbed growth of Muslim societies in the West, segregation and concentration within that picture, growth, spread and intensification of conservative Muslim ideology within that, Islamist portions within that, and militant Islamism and extremisim within this thematic, given:

    A) The branding of those of us with a desire to safeguard and secure ourselves, our families, our neighbourhoods, communities, towns, cities, societies, nations, continents, and civilisations, against various societal/security problems as ‘right-wing’ (irrespective of whether we are traditionalists/averse to progressivism)

    B) Factor A serves as to heavily politically/financially/legalistically delegitimise/disincentivise opposition to mass inter-civilisational immigration and protestation/intervention regarding the emergence of relatively problematic instances of non-integration of disparate societal groups

Also, if that were true, then surely we would expect to find terrorist acts, incentivized by religious doctrine, playing out to a much lesser degree outside of the Western world?
One place becoming a fertile breeding ground does not negate the fact that other places are already much more fertile breeding grounds. Additionally, there are a host of factors that ideologically (moderation) and practically (logistical difficulty in launching a terror attack in the West vs. the East) limit the translation of fertile prospect into the spawning of a nightmarish reality. Europe is finally waking up - let's just hope that we fully come-to before said nightmare really takes shape

Do I count as a liberal?
Yes and no. You're actually right-wing, in some respects more so than I, but also something of a liberal/humanist/left-winger in some respects. There's nothing inherently wrong with any of these faculties my dear, fret not. Perhaps carefully revisit the quoted passage in order to be assured of my meaning
