Oops wrong PM. It was John Major, the Leader of the Conservative Party.

That makes more sense. But how did John Major's desire (which incidently was shared by politicians of all ilks at the time, as well as the CBI - there was very broad consensus) for monetary union in the early 90's cause yesterday's gun and bomb attacks by ISIS. I still don't see causation.

One step closer to the United States of Europe and opening all borders to anyone who enters EU through Greece, Italy, or Spain.

But that's the Schengen agreement to which the UK was never signatory to anyway. Doesn't have much to do with monetary union; another thing that the UK didn't sign up to.

I think you need to rethink this and start again.

You're joking if you think getting closer in one aspect doesn't move Britain closer to getting another step in another.

We need to get to the root of the immigration issue: Right wingers.

Who tried to open borders by joining the EU? Edward Heath, Leader of the Conservative Party.

Who tried to link the pound to Euro? John Major, Leader of the Conservative Party.

Who accepted tens of thousands of Syrian refugees? David Cameron, Leader of the Conservative Party.

Who refused to take Britain out of the EU, thus continuing unlimited immigration? David Cameron, Leader of the Conservative Party.

Who pledged to have a United States of Europe? Winston Churchill, Leader of the Conservative Party.

Who opened the EU up to millions of Syrians? Angela Merkel, Leader of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany.

---

Who abolished the law to make it that we can mock religions such as islam? Gordon Brown, Leader of the Labour Party.

Which party voted 2:1 to leave the European Communities? The Labour Parry.

Which major party leader is a Eurosceptic? Jeremy Corbyn, Leader of the Labour Party.

Who's ruling Greece, warning the EU of the refugees crisis? The left wing party.

---

It's time for all of us to WAKE UP and realise that rightism has created the problem of today!

Churchill may have called for a United States of Europe but unambiguously stated he didn't want the UK to be part of it. But obviously don't let the facts stand in the way of your misguided rant.

Your argument so far seems to be that the bloodshed in Paris has a causal link to Britain joining monetary union and signing up to Schengen; neither of which they did. It's not a convincing hypothesis.

At London’s Albert Hall, in May 1947, just a few months after his Zurich speech, Churchill spoke as Chairman and Founder of he United Europe Movement to ‘present the idea of a United Europe in which our country will play a decisive part..’

Churchill argued that Britain and France should be the, `founder-partners in this movement’ and concluded, `Britain will have to play her full part as a member of the European family’

Two of the terrorists posed as refugees from Syria. Who wanted all the "refugees" to be allowed in to Europe? Lefties

My argument so far is that this is not a left or right issue and people should stop placing all the blame on left wingers.

Oh oh. Greece wants that to stop. Who's ruling Greece? Lefties.

Germany wants it to continue. Who's ruling Germany? Right wingers.

You may excuse yourself now.

Meanwhile, lefties are still debating if we should condemn the attacks lest it hurt the poor feelings of muslims who weren't responsible in case it can be construed as 'islamophobic' or 'offensive'.

I thought your argument was that Parisian blood is on right wingers hands. That's the thread title after all.

The blood is on the hands of the people who massacred civilians last night.

Their bodies aren't even cold yet and you're using them as some political agenda, disgusting.

THANK YOU!!!!!!

Everyone is blaming everyone else - left and right. The people who died (and just in Paris) this weekend have already stopped being people whose lives have been cut horrendously short. They are now just numbers to be bandied around by politicians and thier ilk.
Is it just me or are the trolls especially bad today?
