I've been looking at International Relations courses, and the IR + Geography course seems like an ideal course for me. However, I attained average Gcse grades ( 7a's and 3b's), and now I've moved to a grammar school doing Geography, History, Politics and Economics for A-levels. I'm really concerned, because from the research I've done IR courses at St. Andrews seems very competitive. Would better AS results make up for my weak GCSE results? Or is it an unrealistic aspiration?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated...
