There's only one thing to do: practice! Try to write a small paragraph each night and get it marked when possible, your teachers will be happy to help. Brush over grammar and conjugations, especially when to use them. You could also try reading articles in french to gain a better understanding of sentence structures!
One good thing would be to find a french person to message regularly in french and who would correct your mistakes as you go, too.
