i would melt all the chocolate and mix it until all the poison was distributed equally, so the poison would be diluted and thus if i ate one piece of the now weakened poison chocolate i would be fine. That would work im pretty sure but if not of course not! because i can live my whole life not being poisoned and go buy alot more than 1 piece of chocolate throughout my lifetime without the chance of it being poisoned.

What kind of poison? How much?

If enough to kill, no. One piece of chocolate isn't worth a 1% chance of death.

Not like you are being morally reprehensible by not eating the chocolate... nor are you losing or gaining all that much from the choice anyway.
Not like the chocolate is a person with feelings, that you would be abandoning in your choice not to eat it
