I'm taking my AS in Maths to A level and just wanted to check what happens to my AS result if I fail my A Level?

Nothing, you've already sat your AS exams so your scores can't change. The difficulty comes in whether or not you'll actually be able to declare your Maths AS as an AS level only, as you'll technically have an A2 in Maths.
