I've just finished the Cold War unit in Higher History, and have been set this essay question:
' "Changing public opinion in the USA was the main reason why America lost the Cold War" How valid is this view?'

I understand that I don't have to agree with the view, but I'm confused as to whether or not I can argue two different factors are just as important as each other in regards to causing America to lose, or just one factor?

I'd be extremely grateful for any help

If they are valid reasons, then two. (Or more.)

Um no because of the guriella warfare used by the Vietnamese. Could be argued they knew the envirioment more than USA and that could be used as a contributing part as to why USA lost. (Just an idea)
