how important are extracurricular activities for Neuroscience?

I would like to choose Neuroscience in University, but I don't have any relevant work experience or extracurricular activities. My work experiences were in a nursery and a music shop. I also didn't really read any book about neuroscience, the only knowledge I have about it is by watching youtube videos. The problem is that I don't have that many things to write on my personal statement, are those really important for a neuroscience personal statement?
You don't need either work experience or extra curriculars. You need to read around your subject and talk about what you've done to develop your interests in it.
