Dubstep any day. However the emphasis are different so it's kinda weird comparing the two. Trap vs dubstep or DnB vs dubstep makes more sense.

House, if it's one of the more laid back genres. Not into EDM, Electro or Future tbh. Love Deep house, Organ house & other 90s style stuff and Bassline & Organ/Niche.

Do like old skool dubstep though, old style Skream for example.

Totally different sounds. Tempos are different, basslines are totally different, typical drum patterns are different. Just to name a few major differences.

Whoa...
Spoiler:
Show
House follows a 4 on the floor beat, dubstep is half tempo break beat. Dubstep has a wobbling bassline, and is more brash. House's bassline is carried by the kicks. House lies between 120 and 140 BPM, Dubstep lies at 140 BPM. WAIT, I REMEMBER YOU!

Dubstep/chillstep for when I wanna just nod and relax. House for obviously going mad. House is like a glittery drum and bass, to me.

I hate when people think House is dubstep.
& I had a dubstep phase but that passed: House is wayyy better and more universal. Dubstep isn't for most people tbh

House, all the way.

Dubstep can be annoying after a while.
