Securely erase PCle flash hard drive (128 GB)

Hi,
I recently sold my macbook air (early 2015 model) which has as PCle 128GB Flash storage hard drive.

I used a 7-pass secure erase option.

I have two questions
(1) will this actually work for flash hard-drives - I have read it is not possible to securely erase them?

(2) The process of securely erasing the hard drive with a 7-time pass sequence took less than 1hr-1hr 30 (can't remember exactly). Did it work?

Thank you

1) No. You need to use a tool designed for SSDs. A 7 pass wipe is something designed for magnetic hard drives and there is no way to guarantee that it has done anything to your data.
2) See above. It might have erased some of it, all of it or none of it. No way to tell really!
