Scared of going clubbing, what do i tell my friends?

I have made a load new friends in the past few months, but whenever they go out clubbing, they invite me and I'm always a no show. I think theyre beginning to think I am a bit weird.

But I'm too scared to go out. Cos last time i went clubbing I ended up being attacked, raped and left for dead. And i never want to go out again. so how do I tell my friends that I don't want to go clubbing.

This might not be useful in your case OP, but I don't enjoy clubbing, so whenever my friends go clubbing I'll come round for prinks, but not go out. I just tell them that I don't enjoy clubs, and it's stupid to do something you don't enjoy. If they actually care about you, they won't argue (too much)
