The Student Room Group

Hello, my name is HamzahPatel!

I'm in year 11 doing the following GCSE's (In brackets are what I realistically expect myself to get):

Maths (A*-A)
English Lang & Lit (A*-A or B if unlucky)
Chemistry (A*-A)
Biology (A*-A)
Physics (A*-A)
History (A*-A)
Computing (B)
Product Design (A*-A)
French (E-U I know, I'm crap at French but my school forced it upon us)

For sixth form I'm thinking of taking:

Further Maths
Maths
Economics
History

For later on in life I'm interested in:
Doing an economics degree and becoming an investment banker.
OR
Doing the KPMG leaver programme where by the end you're a qualified chartered accountant, graduated from Durham and without any debt.

I'm interested in technology, gaming, football

Yh that is a downside - 100 hours a week :yikes:
But then you remember the six figure £££ you're being paid :yep:
In the end my decision will be about the free time/money balance I want. If I do become a chartered accountant the salary doesn't compare to IB but I'll by no means be poor and would still be able to have somewhat of a life. However there's still something attractive to me about becoming an IB. It's a dilemma but I still have a lot of time and exams till I get there.
