History or Politics A level

Which one should i take? I am going to take Maths, economics and biology as well.

Are they both equally weighted? Will universities regard an A in both equally well?

If your school offers Further Mathematics or Accounting, take them.
I love both; admittedly History is traditionally reputable.

I hated history, although it was more the teacher.. not the content.

Politics is my favourite a level.

I would take politics if I was you, but I'm slightly biased. I have heard people saying that they aren't fond of history a-level after loving it at gcse and it is quite a heavy workload subject. Politics isn't too heavy but it helps if you have a genuine, like all subjects. I'm not sure if they are equally reputable but PPE is studied at uni by most politicians, it is very much a respected subject.
