Best place for jewellery - gift for girlfriend (christmas)

Hi i have been going out with my girlfriend for a few weeks now so im thinking of getting her a necklace, probably silver as this is what she prefers. Im just wondering where the best place to look for one would be. Im not overly rich so where would be the best place to get affordable, really nice looking necklaces? Thank you.
