RAF oral steroids for asthma

Hello, having applied for the RAF, and researching I've found a post from 2010 saying if you took oral steroids for asthma after aged 5 its an automatic no, I was wondering if that's still the case? Thanks!

Unlikely to have changed, but you'll only know by asking them, not us.

Very true, thanks for the quick response.
A mate of mine a couple years back got booted out of the army because they found asthma pumps in his bag, same thing would probably happen in the RAF I imagine.

Ahh haven't had anything like that for over 10 years now. They just gave me some oral steroids when I was 8 and 10 instead of an inhaler! And seems they refuse people who have taken them after age 5

Oral steroids were on the no list last I checked.
