Most people in Britain are sort of comfortable, upper-working to lower middle class, live fairly quiet lives and it does feel that the discussion around Islamic State refugees is framed in an extremely family friendly, sanitised way. Jihadi John is a pantomime villain.
In a land far far away, children running from some bad men with masks and other bad men like Donald Trump don't want to let them in, we should let them in shouldn't we children.
It's like BBC news is Jackanory for adults
