Is it appropriate for me to give my lecturers a Christmas card, along with a tub of celebrations. I'm a first year student and I've just finished my first semester (yay me), but I'm not sure if the chocolate and card is appropriate or not??? Help.

I personally don't see a problem with it, it's just basically a thank you and merry Christmas for being a good lecturer.

Unless you're writing sexual suggestive comments on the card, I can't see how it would be inappropriate, Our lecturers gave us chocolates for Christmas, and in my third year I'll probably give my project supervisor a Christmas gift.
