Student life at King's with inclusion to sport

Hi, at this point I am seriously considering accepting my offer at KCL to read war studies, but have a few lingering questions/fears.

When I've gone to the open days I've only visited the strand campus and actually looked at the course itself, I barely looked at the students union, the gym or anything like that.

I know for some people gym and sport isn't an important consideration when choosing a university, but for me it's an important part of my life. Could someone please tell me what the sport (especially rugby), the gym and other societies are like at Kings?

Finally, what are the career prospects like for someone from KCL with a passion for journalism?
Hi Luke,

Congratulations on your offer to study at King’s!

In regards to rugby, we have the GKT Men’s Rugby Club, which is open to all players from all degrees at King’s—all abilities welcome! If you get in contact using the email address provided, they should be able to give you some more specifics. Also, if you navigate around the KCLSU pages, you should be able to come across upcoming events and get an idea about clubs and societies.

Details (membership prices, classes etc.) about our fitness centre can be found using the following link: https://www.kcl.ac.uk/campuslife/sport/facilities/fitnesscentreindex.aspx

Also, take a look at the following page for information for King’s graduates, with links to our Careers Service.
